Is / Am / Are (Questions)

Note: We always use a question mark (?) in the end of every question sentence.

* We can make questions by putting the auxiliary/helping verb (is/am/are) before the subject:

Examples:

She is an Indian. (Simple sentence)
is she an Indian? (Question)

They are students. (Simple sentence)
are they students? (Question)

This is a book. (Simple sentence)
is this a book? (Question)

I am a student. (Simple sentence)
am I a student? (Question)

* We can also make questions by using question words (what / where / who / how / why / when) in starting of sentences:
